The Ardell Stone School of Dancing began in Roanoke, Virginia in 1966. For over 40 years, the studio has enjoyed much success and trained many wonderful and successful dancers.
Several students have gone on to perform with college dance teams such as the Virginia Tech Hi Techs, James Madison University Dukettes, Radford University Rockers, Elon College Dancers, William and Mary Tribal Dancers, Hamilton College Dance Team and the University of Tennesse Dancing Vols. One also danced for the NBA Atlanta Hawks Dance Team and another former student is a professional dancer and choreographer in California. Many others are teaching on the college level and at other studios throughout the country.
When you or your child attends our dance school, you will discover a personal teaching system designed to fulfill the complete potential of every dancer. Classes are offered at every skill level so that each student can be placed in an environment that is both comfortable and challenging.
Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Pointe classes are available.
