Our Mission Since 1952, members of GFWC Roanoke Junior Women’s Club (formerly Brambleton Junior Woman’s Club) have worked to address the most pressing needs of our community through volunteer service. This includes promoting education, preserving natural resources, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and participating in the arts. Work is carried on through projects and programs as deemed beneficial to our local, regional and world communities.
Unlike most of today’s single issue organizations, our structure allows us to address emerging needs of our community and respond quickly, whether it is an annual project or an emergency response.
Our membership includes incredibly diverse women united by a dedication to community improvement through volunteer service and friendship. Any woman over the age of eighteen is welcome.
We meet at various locations on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in serving the community and developing new friendships, please email us at roanokejuniors@yahoo.com.
